Brookyln – Kyrie Irving scores 50 points in his Nets debut but his team failed to capture the victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in OT, 127-126.
Karl Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 36 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks whle Andrew Wiggins added 21 points and eight boards.
On the other hand, Irving dazzled with a 50-point performance together with eight boards and seven dimes but missed the a possible game winner in overtime.
“He was outstanding, obviously. Great debut for him,” said Nets coach Kenny Atkinson after the loss.
