Shooting: PH trio traps team trap gold

December 10, 2019 – The Philippines shoots another gold in shooting as they win the men’s trap event inside Ilanan Forest in Subic.

Eric Ang, Carlos Carag, and Hagen Alexander Topacio gunned 338 points, capped by a 69-point fifth round performance, sealing the deal.

It was the Malaysian team that actually led the first two rounds of the tournament, but the Filipino trio catched up in rounds 3 and 4, prompting them to take silver instead.

The Thailand team take the third place after finishing with 321 points.

Carag and Ang will also participate in the final round of the individual trap tournament.
